Extraordinary Life: Living Beyond Fear

Living beyond your fears

“Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” —Hebrews 12:2

Has it ever crossed your mind how your life would be without fear? Think of how undefeated and glamorous you would be.

The recurring chaos in this inauspicious world are beyond your control. There’s no doubt fear is now contagious in our world—with violence, terrible diseases, broken homes and unemployment making headlines in every society. Almost all the happenings and statistics in the world impart fear; limiting you to an ordinary life.

Nevertheless, there is a life far beyond the ordinary: a life that is not limited by such perplexities. That’s what God has planned for you—an extraordinary life!

“Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.—Matthew 14:29-30

Peter was just an ordinary man buffeted by the boisterous storms. But he could miraculously walk on the sea at Christ’s command. How? He de-emphasized how violent the storms were by focusing on Jesus.
Beloved, if you could look off from what seems to be impossible to you, and gaze at the comforting eyes of Jesus, your fear would melt like butter. And you would end up manifesting what you see in the savior—righteousness, joy, peace, and love.

Fear only makes you think, talk and walk ordinarily. But like Peter, you can walk on the waves of life to the loving Savior. Let not your focus be on the closed door, debt, depression, sickness or addiction. Focus on Jesus. Because in Him you are complete (Colossians 2:10): lacking nothing!
Behold the grace-filled eyes of the savior and be transformed from the inside out.

Are you experiencing storms on every side? Is your business/finance at the verge of ‘sinking’? What is it that limits and makes you fearful?
You can live an extraordinary life even in your darkest and worst moments. No harm will ever overtake you as long as your eyes are fixed on jesus!
